Here’s a fun little edit that I put together for a new series for the Signal guys. Licensing music is a pain in the butt, especially when you’re just trying to promote upcoming videos. So, when I came across a shot of Danimals trying to fix the hot tub, it was music to an editors ears!

The guys over at Signal did an amazing job bringing together some of the best names in all of action sports the Legend Rob Machado, Futures Fins, Surf Prescriptions, and Baldface Lodge. Check out this great review from Steve Casimiro on The Adventure Life as well.

I was even able to get out from behind the computer and shoot/interview Dave Lee!

Utilizing Youtube’s annotations functions to promote your videos is a feature that a lot of companies are are using at the tail end of their clips to increase referrals to their other videos.
I’ve decided to change that concept to create a DVD menu style page that allows me to showcase several of my current works in one embedded youtube clip. I’m hoping that this will not only allow clients and friends to see what current projects I’m involved with, but also create more clicks for the clients that are featured within the “Status Update.” (Which would not happen if I were to simply upload the entire clip to my company youtube page.)
